Course Description

Successful implementation of an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program requires a multidisciplinary team effort and active participation of the patient in the recovery program. The ERAS program is an opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in the field with a goal to hasten functional recovery and improve postoperative outcomes.

Target Audience

This meeting is planned and implemented for surgeons, anesthesiologists, preoperative- and postoperative nurses, dietitians and nutritionists, statisticians, pain management specialists, hospital administrators, clinic staff, and trainees.

Accreditation & Credit Designation

The Foundation for Advanced Cardiovascular Education and Training (FACET) was reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and awarded accreditation status as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
