The Cath Conference provides a space for individuals working in the Baylor Heart Hospital Cath departments a place to discuss various methods used to possibly treat patients. Discussion includes a wide variety of topics including the latest updates in congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, anticoagulation, preventive cardiology, and valvular heart disease, among others.

Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • (1) select and evaluate appropriate diagnostic tests to determine which procedure is the best option for the patient
  • identify risks and benefits of various cath procedures.
