Heart failure prevalence continued to increase due to an aging population and evolving heart failure therapies. We now even more medication classes that are effective to improve mortality and morbidity in these patients. And yet, in spite of these medical advancements, many patients still progress to end stage heart failure. In some cases, this worsening is an acute event that makes the severity of illness obvious. In many other cases, the progression to end stage heart failure is more insidious. How do we as providers identify these at-risk patients for timely referral to advanced heart failure centers?

Join us as we talk about the warning signs of worsening heart failure to help providers become more adept at identifying patients in need of advanced heart failure therapies.
